CNC milling-profiling machines with 5 interpolated axes

KRONOS CNC milling-profiling machines with 5 interpolated axes are used to cut slabs of natural and artificial/engineered stone using an overbench with the top surface covered in wood to support the slab.   Cutting is carried out with a diamond blade with the overbench in place.  Once the cutting phase is complete the overbench can be removed exposing the aluminum fixed/tilting bench. Suction cups can then be set up to support the piece for the subsequent phases of processing. The piece is then finished using a variety of processes:
Profiling and polishing of edge sections using specially shaped tools.
Circular, oval, rectangular or square inner cuts using cylindrical router bits.
Polishing of kitchen worktops and bathroom tops using the appropriate tools.
Drilling and excavation of blocks of stone using diamond tools.
Bas-reliefs/ carvings and engravings using diamond tools.
