DONATONI C4.38 is a numerical control machining centre, with either 3 or 4 interpolated axes, representing the ideal solution for all businesses in need of a machine that can achieve high quality finishes on materials such as marble, stone, granite, agglomerated quartz, and ceramic.

Compact, rigid and long-lasting. The self-supporting frame made of electro-welded steel is galvanised and painted for utmost protection over time. The frame is easy to place thanks to some openings provided for lifting with either an overhead crane or a crane.
Innovative electrospindle featuring an infinite rotational C axis, which is of key importance when bevel gearboxes are used. The drilled shaft allows for internal water flow, thus providing for optimised cooling via an external heat exchanger.
Tool holder consisting of a steel frame built in the monoblock, intended to house the mounts on which the ISO-40 tapered tool holders are placed. Two alternative options are available: the first option consists in a pair of compact footprint racks (13+14 locations) and the second option includes a rear rack (61 locations).
The front safety barriers with a locking system offer a higher level of safety control. These barriers are designed to offer maximum visibility over the work area and to minimise the machine footprint at the same time. The barriers have a front door which consists of 2+2 wings.
Tool presetting is a system designed for automatic detection of the tool thickness. The slab thickness probe measures the average thickness of the slab and transfers this value to the NC so that the machining parameters are updated immediately.
Work table consisting of a series of extruded aluminium boards featuring an innovative system of plastic profiles for outstanding performances. A special system of plastic profiles is provided to fit double-effect suction cups across the entire work bench area.
This is an innovative system consisting in tanks placed along the entire bench perimeter for optimised collection and outflow of water used in the machining processes. The tank design is such that the work place is kept clean and dry, thus creating suitable conditions for seamless productivity.
This system consists of two vacuum bars designed for optimised management of vacuum and the blow in suction cups or end stops. They are activated by functionally designed foot switches. Each bar can house up to 11 double-effect suction cups and 3 end stops.
Everything within reach. The control panel is the basic tool required to operate and to programme the machine. This is why it must be as user-friendly and intuitive as possible. The control panel comes with an innovative design and a large 21” touch screen.
The cross-shaped laser is the ideal solution for accurate suction cup placement. The laser is mounted on the spindle assembly and provides for accuracy and efficiency during the machining process.
The handheld terminal features a variety of buttons and a 7” touch screen panel which are used to perform different operations, including manual movement of all the machine axes, storage of the “zero” parameters, viewing of machine heights, and performing miscellaneous operations.
Parametrix is the simple and intuitive Software developed by Donatoni Macchine and designed to optimise the management of cuts of variously-shaped pieces on a slab.
It enables work processes involving cuts with discs, milling cutters and drills, the insertion of straight and curved forms and shapes that have been pre-set or imported from DXF files, and the optimisation of processing times and slab surfaces. Based on the available surface it is possible to set the pieces arrangement and cut sequences. In the software are included anti-collision functions, manual and automatic nesting, production statistics management. Parametrix can be combined with Photoslab and Move-System.
Easystone is a software for the creation of design products, statues and architectural projects ranging from simple to complex. It is a professional CAD-CAM software specifically designed for stone processing.
